Connect Vipps MobilePay
Use your merchant serial number with Calendia's partner connection, or supply your own sales-unit API keys.
Vipps MobilePay is a handoff payment method: Calendia starts a payment and the customer approves it in Vipps or MobilePay. It is not a card terminal. Your business has to be approved by Vipps MobilePay for the cash register integration first; after that you connect it in Company settings > Payments.
Sign up with Vipps MobilePay first
- Open Company settings, go to the Payments tab and expand Vipps MobilePay.
- Click Sign up with Vipps MobilePay. The button opens Calendia's registration form at Vipps MobilePay, where you apply for the cash register integration with your organisation details.
- Wait for Vipps MobilePay to approve the application. This is done by Vipps MobilePay, not by Calendia, and usually takes a few days. You are notified by Vipps MobilePay when it is ready.
- Once approved, your sales unit and its merchant serial number (MSN) appear in the Vipps MobilePay business portal, and you can continue below.
Use Calendia's partner connection
Find your merchant serial number (MSN) in the Vipps MobilePay business portal. Enter it in Calendia's Merchant serial number field and leave Use my own Vipps MobilePay API keys off. Calendia's partner credentials are used behind the scenes. An MSN identifies your sales unit; it is not an API key. Save the integration and activate it only after the sales unit is ready. A customer phone number is needed when sending a payment request to a phone.
If you have your own sales-unit keys
Only enable the advanced key option if Vipps MobilePay issued keys for your sales unit. In the portal, open For developers, select the correct Test or Production sales unit and choose Show keys. Map Client ID, Client secret, and the primary or secondary Subscription key into the matching Calendia fields; keep the MSN from that same unit. Never mix test and production values. Protect these keys like passwords and regenerate them if exposed.
If activation fails, check that the MSN belongs to the enabled sales unit and that the chosen key mode matches your agreement. For phone handoff, check the customer's number. Review status in Calendia before another attempt; do not make a real payment just to verify setup.
